Golf World Class

World renown golfer Fred Couples - winner of the Masters and 15 PGA tournaments - and his design partner Gene Bates, who has over 25 years of experience in the field, have combined their talents to create a sparkling gem in the Canadian Rockies.

The collaboration of competitor and designer creates the highest level of focus available for outstanding integrity in course design. The course will take full advantage of the natural splendor, with holes highlighted by glacier fed streams, surrounded by old growth forest and cradled in alpine meadows. In commenting about the Whiskey Jack project Couples said "The scenery here is spectacular! Where else could you make a shot, look up and see the Continental Divide."

Spread over 675 acres, when completed each hole will offer amazing views and water features that include natural, spring and creek beds. Hole 12 is one of two signature holes. It features an island green and takes you back to the clubhouse. Hole 18 allows you to challenge yourself with an island tee-off box. The course will have five par 3, eight par 4 and five par 5 holes. The design philosophy is to create a course that will be challenging to skilled players, yet not intimidating to recreational golfers. This is largely accomplished by incorporating five tee boxes at most holes.

The project's rustic character and ambiance, coupled with the comfortable feel of the course, will leave every golfer content, and looking forward to coming back for another round.
